A Fine 18th Century Dutch marquetry cylinder top Bureau
Good quality late 18th Century Dutch Marquetry Cylinder Top Bureau. The fall of the bureau is profusely inlaid with floral marquetry of flowers, leaves, birds, scrolls etc, and slides back to reveal an inlaid and fitted interior, including four inlaid drawers, and a central door. The bureau has three long drawers, each with original oak linings. The bureau is in good overall condition, however there are signs of slight shrinkage, which is sound and not detrimental to the piece. Dimensions – 34 inches high x 23 inches wide x 16 inches deep. Faults; one key escutcheon missing and one handle pull. Overall a beautiful tambour front marquetry bureau, priced to sell. Check out my other items. Be sure to add me to your favourites list. While the clocks are fairly easy to set up and a setting up guide can be supplied, if you are unable to set it up you may need to seek help from a local professional at the buyers cost. I accept personal cheques paid prior to collection, cash on. This is a deliberate attempt to deceive, these items are all in my possession.
